    Once you have completed the online application for the 2020-2021 school year, the Early Childhood team will contact you to have you upload required documents and determine Pre-K eligibility and complete the enrollment process. 

    En cuanto haya terminado la aplicación de inscripción para el año escolar 2020-2021, el departamento de Educación temprana se comunicará con usted para la entrega de documentos virtualmente, determinar elegibilidad, y completar el proceso de inscripción.

    Documents Needed for Pre-K Enrollment
    • Proof of Residence; original and current utility bill (water, gas, electric, cable bill; not a telephone bill) in parent/guardian’s name
    • If the parent/guardian lives with a district resident (host family), a notarized affidavit of residence form (yellow form) must be provided 
    • Valid parent/guardian identification; state driver's license, Texas ID, passport with current address, military or government issued ID or consular card
    • Proof of Student Identification; original or certified true copy of birth certificate (not hospital certificate), valid passport with visa stamp, or any legal document that established identity
    • Student’s social security card (optional)
    • Student’s current and up-to-date immunization record
    • For Pre-K educationally disadvantaged eligibility: TANF/SNAP eligibility letter, valid Medicaid card or most recent pay stub for all individuals in the household

    Documentos Necesarios para la Inscripción de Pre-K
    • Prueba de residencia; Factura de servicio publico actual (agua, luz, cable) al nombre del padre o guardian
    • Si el padre o guardian vive con un residente de la ciudad de Duncanville sera necesario una declaracion de residencia notarizada 
    • Identificacion valida del padre or guardian (Puede ser licencia de conducir, Identificacion de Texas, Pasaporte con domicilio actual, Identificacion militar, o identificacion asignada por el gobierno o matricula consular
    • Identificacion del estudiante (Acta de nacimiento original, pasaporte valido con visa, o cualquier documento legal que establezca identidad
    • Tarjeta de Seguro Social del estudiante (opcional)
    • Historial de vacunas actualizado
    • Muestra de ingresos para pre-kinder gratis (Impuestos o talones de cheques para todos los miembros de la vivienda, Tarjeta de Medicaid, o Carta de TANF/SNAP

    Prekindergarten Tuition Free Eligibility 

    Students qualifying for tuition-free prekindergarten must be four years of age by September 1, and meet one of the following criteria:

    • Unable to speak and comprehend the English language, or
    • Educationally disadvantaged (which means a student is eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program), or
    • Homeless, or
    • Dependent of one who is currently in active military service, was injured as a result of active military service, or is the survivor of one killed in active military services, or
    • Child who currently or has ever been in the foster care system, or
    • Child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as; a peace officer, a firefighter, or an emergency medical first responder

    Tuition Prekindergarten Program

    • $100 non-refundable deposit 
    • Monthly tuition $475
    • Duncanville ISD employee monthly tuition $285 

    Pre-K Registration Online Enrollment Support

    Online registration for the 2020-2021 school year will open February 28, 2020. 

    Elegibilidad de Pre-Kinder Gratuito

    Estudiantes que califican para Pre-Kinder gratuito deben tener cuatro años antes de Septiembre 1, y cumplir por lo menos uno de los siguientes requisitos:

    • Competencia limitadad en el ingles, o
    • Economicamente desafavorecido (Que significa que el estudiante es elegible para participar en el almuerzo gratis o reducido en precio), o
    • Carecer de techo, o
    • Hijo de militar activo o militar fallecido o lesionado en servicio activo, o
    • Situacion de adopcion temporal (actual or anteriormente), o
    • Menor dependiente de un receptor del honor Star of Texas

    Programa de Pre-Kinder a base de Matricula (Pago Mensual)

    • $100 deposito no reembolsable
    • Matricula Mensual de $475
    • Empleado del Distrito Escolar matricula mensual $285 

    Apoyo de Inscripcion de Pre-K En Linea

    Inscripcion en linea para el año escolar 2020-2021 se abrirar Febrero 28, 2020.
