Our school family here at Smith Elementary focuses on one character trait every month.  Our teachers encourage, teach, and notice a specific trait in their students all month.   Then one student is recognized at a Knighting Ceremony!

We know that students are learning more than just to read and write and calculate math problems - they are learning how to live in a family and in a community.
