Hello!

My name is Lorna Quintanar, and I am an assistant Band director at Byrd Middle School, as well as Hardin Intermediate School.  This is my fourth year to teach in Duncanville, and my sixth year overall.  I attended Byrd Middle School as a student and then graduated from Duncanville High School in 2009.  I was very active in the Duncanville Band program as a student, and am excited to be back now as a director. My responsibilities include directing the Symphonic II Band, assisting with the Symphonic I and Symphonic III Bands, and teaching beginning band classes at Hardin.
