Hi!   I am so excited to be a First Grade teacher at Alexander Elementary.  I had been an instructional teacher assistant for 15 years.  This is my fourth year as a certified teacher.  I graduated from Duncanville High School in 1977.  I received a Bachelors of Science Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce in December 2014.  A little about my family is that I am a mother of two children and a grandma of 6 grandchildren. Being a teacher has been my dream since I was in the third grade at Urban Elementary School  in Laredo, Texas.  Teaching children is my passion.
