Alexander Physical Education

The objective in P.E. is to teach students the importance of life long physical activity. The students will learn motor skills, a variety of games geared toward cardiovascular heath, basic skills in a variety of sports and sportsmanship.

Each day starts out with a warm-up consisting of stretching, light running and agility drills, and a set of push-ups and sit-ups.

Safety is my first concern so with this I ask that you children wear the proper footwear when they come to P.E, tennis shoes are preferred, and heels, boots and flats for example are not recommended. They have P.E. every other day so please plan accordingly. Also, if the female students that wear skirts could make sure they have shorts underneath would be greatly appreciated.
