Welcome to the 2019- 2020 School Year

Hello, my name is Rashunda Ford.  I am an Inclusion/Resource special education teacher at Acton Elementary.  I was born and raised in Dallas, TX.  I am a proud Duncanville High School alumni.  I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts & Sciences.  I also have a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Kansas.  This school year will be my 9th year as a special education teacher.  Being an Educator is such a rewarding profession.  Teaching students new skills and knowledge, then watching them grow and develop cognitively is very fulfilling.  I truly enjoy educating children and believe ALL students have the ability to learn and achieve academic success!
