Greetings! I'm Yolanda Allen, and words cannot express how excited I am to be working with your learner inside our 7th grade English Language Arts/Reading class this school year! Challenging students' growth is one of my greatest passions, and it is a privilege to be embarking on this journey with you, as we experience many adventures in both reading and writing. I believe it is simply impossible to engage in one without the other,  and I am thrilled in the many opportunities that will be awakened via collective collaboration. As we encounter multiple strategies that will expand our learning, may we all willingly embrace this process! Please note that I am available every Monday before and after school for tutoring. Should you need assistance outside of this timeframe, I am available by appointment only. Additionally, my door is always open.
