Welcome!!!  I am excited to say this is my 10^th year at Merrifield Elementary and my 5th year as the Library Media Specialist.  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and enjoying life!  My goal as the Library Media Specialist is to provide an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal enjoyment reading. I am passionate about helping children grow and develop a love for reading. I enjoy working collaboratively with staff and students to provide the services needed to satisfy the evolving informational and recreational needs of all patrons. Our library offers a rich variety of print and electronic resources necessary to enrich and support educational programs. I look forward to building a relationship with each student and assisting in enriching their academic growth.
