Welcome to my 4th Grade classroom! This year is a little different in that your child will be in a self-contained classroom. That simply means that I will teach them every subject, and they will not be switching to other teachers for different subjects. It's a change, but change can be good, right?

So, a little about me. I am a graduate of Southwestern Adventist University, with a degree in Elementary Education. This is my 15th year of teaching, and I have taught every grade from Kindergarten through 4th Grade. I have one son who is 28 years old. I have FOUR (yes, I said four!) dogs - two Chihuahuas and two Basset Hounds. I love to read and journal, to cook for friends and family, and I try to stay very active. Friends and family are my heart! I came to Duncanville from Dallas ISD, and I have also taught in the Irving and Granbury Independent Scool Districts.
