Mr. Ryne Alber

Born March 7, 1991 in Voorhees, NJ, Ryne Alber grew up in southwest New Jersey before moving to Duncanville in the summer of 2014. After briefly attending Byrd Middle School for the first six weeks of eight grade, Ryne moved to Midlothian and graduated from Midlothian High School in 2009. He went on to receive the President's Gold Scholarship from Baylor University and graduated with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education in May of 2013. Having briefly serving as a substitute teacher for Waco ISD during his final year at Baylor, Mr. Alber officially joined the district full-time in the summer of 2013 and immediately began teaching summer school for Waco High School. He went on to serve the district for over five years at WHS, having had experience teaching Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Geometry PreAP, PreCalculus, as well as a variety of summer school programs and courses.

In order to be closer to his family who still live in Midlothian, Mr. Alber left Waco after nine years and moved to DeSoto in the summer of 2018. He joined Red Oak ISD that July and had the pleasure of teaching Geometry there for the 2018-19 school year before coming here to Duncanville in the summer of 2019 for his seventh year in education. He will be teaching Geometry again and is extremely excited for this opportunity.

Ryne Alber has two younger brothers, Robert (age 23) and Mark (age 19), and has two dogs (Jasmine, age 5; Marley, age 4) and two cats (Shakur, age 3; Stevie, age 1). He is an avid music lover and follower of most professional sports and particularly loves playing fantasy football and basketball. He would like to stay in education long-term and possibly enter administration in the distant future. Mr. Alber likes to utilize technology to help engange students and interact and communicate, so please download the 'Remind101' and 'Pocket Points' apps for your devices. Please feel free to contact with any comments, questions, or concerns.
