Mrs. Sherri R. Hevron

I have been a music teacher for our District at Central Elementary for 19 years.   10 years of that time I also served as the K-6 Elementary Music Coordinator for the District.  My main responsibility was to coordinate efforts in planning the yearly All-City Choir event.   I have also served as music teacher for one year at Madill Public Schools in Madill, OK and then spent two years overseas in Okinawa, Japan as a missionary and music minister at Central Baptist Church.  I met my husband there and we've been married for 26 years.  I have three awesome children, Grace (9th Grade Civics/Economics teacher in Bryant, AR), Caleb (Manager at Jack in the Box and drummer extraordinaire) and Noah (Boy Scout and 7th grade student at Byrd Middle School).  After my time in Okinawa I taught music for 2 1/2 years in Yuma, Arizona and then 5 years for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD at Farmers Branch Elementary.  I enjoy working with elementary students and instilling in them a love and understanding for music.
